We have followers!  How exciting!  There are two people who donated quilt tops and I will get those quilted soon.  We have one person who donated a lap quilt and another group who will be making quilts for us this winter!  Several people have donated and there are others who will be organizing and attending the Dog Jog next Sunday..  We are also having a doggie dash on the 5th of November, where shelter dogs will be played with and walked and hopefully given some loving and attention.  I am so grateful that people have stepped up.

Quilting is not coming along so quickly due to a number of factors, my arthritis, the broken machine and the fact that I need to continue with my real job full time!  It will all be good though.  Just need patience.

Philanthropy is not a buzzword anymore.  We thought that hard economic times brought out the best in people, but that may not be the case in this day and age... The discrepancy between what people say and what they actually do seems to be getting bigger, not smaller!

Fortunately animals have little guile and no agenda, other than meeting their basic needs.Thank goodness for the animals and their life lessons!  Need inspiration?  Look no further than your devoted pet.
